Admission Requirements for Postgraduate Program
Admission to graduate programs at Harambee University shall be based on academic results and merits required by the academic units for the program.
Eligibility to admission shall consider the academic potential, interest, and financial capacity of the applicant.
All candidates applying to join the Graduate program should pass the entrance examination prepared for the same purpose.
Any well-qualified person with a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning may apply for admission to the master's program.
A successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree in business studies and technology.
A successful completion of a Master's Degree in related fields will also be considered.
The bridge courses will be given for registered applicants before one month.
The bridge courses are designed to be given for applicants who have academic orientations different from business.
The bachelor's degree must be authenticated with approval from ETA.
Foreign applicants may submit results of ToFEL after sitting for the entrance exam.
Eligibility and Procedures: Follow legislation for graduate student testing, selection, and admission.
Application Process: The registrar compiles applications and forwards them to departments.
Department Screening: Departments review candidates and recommend those who meet the criteria.
Approval: Faculty Deans send recommendations to the Director of Post Graduate Studies.
Finalization: The Director of Graduate Studies forwards the list to the Registrar and Alumni Directorate after PG standing committee approval.
Program Capacity: The number of students in each program is set by DGC/SGC/CGC based on staff, space, and demand.
Selection Criteria: Applicants are selected based on academic achievement and other requirements.
